FOR WOMEN DIRECTORS
Ten places per sub-sector. One of them could be yours.
Female Directors is a register of vetted women directors for ASX-listed boards, built for the small and mid-cap end of the market, where many boards still have one woman or none. Each industry sub-sector holds 10 directors, so your profile isn't lost among thousands.
10 directors per sub-sector. Boards see a short list, and you're on it.
Anonymous until a board signs our confidentiality agreement, and we tell you before your name goes anywhere.
Every director passes the same checks, so boards trust the shortlist and call.
HOW IT WORKS FOR DIRECTORS
From application to appointment.
Apply
Tell us about your executive and board experience, and the sub-sectors you know best.
Vetting
A 30 to 45 minute interview, two reference calls, background checks and your skills matrix.
Your profile goes live
Listed anonymously in up to three sub-sectors where you have at least five years of experience.
Introductions
When a board that has signed our confidentiality agreement shortlists you, we tell you first. You decide whether to go ahead.
Appointed
We help with the consent to act and the paperwork. When you hold a full board load, your place passes to the next director on the waitlist.

FAQS FOR DIRECTORS
Questions directors ask.
Who can apply?
Women with at least five years of executive or board experience in the industry sub-sector they apply for. Directors are rated Board-ready or Emerging, and both are welcome.
Do I need to have held a listed board seat?
No. Many small and mid-cap boards are looking for industry depth first. If you haven't sat on a board yet, your profile is marked Emerging, and boards can see exactly what you bring.
Why only 10 places per sub-sector?
So you're not one of thousands in a database. A chair looking for a lithium or funds management director sees a short, vetted list, and you're on it.
What does it cost?
An annual listing fee for each sub-sector you're listed in, a one-off vetting fee when you're accepted, and a placement fee only if you're appointed through the register. Fees are set out in writing before you pay anything.
How many sub-sectors can I list in?
Up to three, where you have at least five years of experience. We approve the sub-sectors, so every listing is credible.
Who sees my profile?
Boards see an anonymous profile: your skills, experience and vetting ticks, with no name or photo. Your name and current appointments go only to boards that have signed our confidentiality agreement, and only after we've told you.
What happens when a sub-sector is full?
You join the waitlist for that sub-sector. Places open when a director is appointed to a full board load or leaves the register, and the waitlist is offered places in order.
What if I have a conflict with a board?
You declare your current roles at vetting and before every introduction. If there's a conflict, we don't introduce you, and the board never sees your name.
